Even though you may not see results right away, it begins working to help replenish vaginal estrogen when you start using it. Call your healthcare provider right away if you get any of the following warning signs or any other unusual symptoms that concern you:
New breast lumps
Unusual vaginal bleeding
Changes in vision or speech
Sudden new severe headaches
Severe pains in your chest or legs with or without shortness of breath, weakness and fatigue

Common side effects include:
Headache
Breast pain
Irregular vaginal bleeding or spotting
Stomach or abdominal cramps, bloating
Nausea and vomiting
Hair loss
Fluid retention
Vaginal yeast infection

If you have used more Estradiol Vaginal tablets (Imvexxy) than you should, talk to a doctor or pharmacist. The dose of estradiol is so low that a considerable number of tablets would have to be taken to approach the dose normally used for treatment taken by mouth.
